Employee Assistance Services are designed to provide assistance to all employees and their immediate family members for a wide range of problems, to help create a more holistic and balanced approach to the relationship between work an life. From time to time employees experience problems, difficulties and concerns that impact on their life as well as their performance at work. These problems may include personal and work-related concerns. These problems will impact on work performance. An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides a range of counseling support services to all employees. This service, available to the employee, is free, confidential, and voluntary. Problems may include, but are not limited to health, marital/relationship issues, family troubles, financial woes, substance abuse, and emotional concerns, Depression, Anxiety or Anger management, Stress management, Drug and Alcohol, Trauma Counseling, Conflict resolution. Counselling is provided by a registered psychologist in a safe, confidential and supportive environment using best practice short tem interventions. Employee Assistance Programs have been shown to:
